SAFETY SIGNS

Safety signs are manufactured from flat aluminum sheets and special vinyl adhesive. They are divided into five main categories based on their color and the basic geometry of the sign. Their categorization is as follows: Prohibitory, warning, mandatory, rescue-aid and for indication of fire-fighting equipment. The placement of safety signs in workplaces is mandatory under directive EC 92/158 and the Gazette 67 / A / 10.4.1995. Safety signs also comply with the requirements of European standard EN 12899-1.

Compliance is certified by a recognized within the European Union certification body. As per the current legislation the employer must provide and ensure the availability of safety and health signs at work places when the hazard or danger can not be avoided or effectively reduced by techniques for collective protection or by measures, methods or procedures of better work organization.
