Speed reduction ramps consist of elevated strips which are placed transversally on the pavement, one next to the other, and their purpose is to reduce the speed of the passing vehicles. They are made of hard rubber, in black color and the fixation on the pavement is done with screws. They offer high visibility during the whole day and under all weather conditions. The visibility is still good even under particularly difficult conditions (fog, rain etc). The external surface is covered with yellow reflective marking tapes of high reflectivity, so that the speed reduction ramp becomes visible to all the drivers during the night, while they remain completely anti-skid (not slippery). There are two types speed reduction moderators. The one has height 30mm and is placed on streets with purpose the reduction of the speed to 50km/h and the other one is respectively 50mm for 40km/h.
